TECH DISTANCE EDUCATION or BE Distance Education is 3 years (Lateral Entry) /4 years undergraduate program that imparts extensive knowledge of different engineering fields and prepares learners for a brilliant career in engineering. Distance B. Tech Degree is offered under various specializations such as mechanical, civil, mining, computer science, aeronautics, electronics, etc. B. TECH Distance education helps to gain industry-ready skills with its industry-oriented curriculum. Distance B. Tech is similar to the Regular B. Tech in respect to syllabus and assessment pattern.

AICTE has come up with an alternative solution i.e., delivering Regular B. Tech through Work-integrated learning programs/ part-time mode/ online mode.
